OPENING AN ACCOUNT WITH US
Opening an account is very easy and straightforward. You can simply download the credit account application online, fill it in and send it over to us! Alternatively, you can give our friendly team a call on 02084502484 should you need assistance!
DEPOSITS
If you haven’t set up an account with us, we kindly require a deposit subject to the equipment value and hire duration.
DELIVERY
For your convenience, we offer our speedy delivery service to either your site or office. Drop a call to your local branch for on quote delivery fee.
SATURDAY HIRES
We are open from 8.00am to 1.00pm every Saturday to cater to your weekend plans!
HIRE PERIOD – EXPLAINED!
We at Local tool hire offer a simple hire period system. Day hire covers 24 hours, which can be used over the course of two days. 2-day hire covers 48 hours and 7 days can cover any 7-day period including weekends. This excludes certain items subject to minimum one-week hire, please call your local branch for more information.
CLEANING
A cleaning fee may be charged if equipment is returned unclean.
SALE AND RETURN
You can never be too sure on the number of accessories and consumables you may need on the job, at Local tool hire we offer a sale or return basis, which means you will not be charged for the items you don’t use!
OFF-HIRE
When requesting a collection, a unique off-hire number is issued to you upon request.
VAT
Prices displayed on the website and catalogue are subject to VAT.
ADVANCED BOOKING
All our branches carry large stocks of small tools, plant and access equipment. Equipment can be reserved in advanced easily through our website or you can alternatively give your local branch a call.
INSURE YOURSELF
We understand accidents can happen, that’s why Local Tool Hire offers a 10% damage waiver or we can offer HireSecure loss & damage waiver at 15% (plus VAT) which, as well as accidental damage, includes additional covers for theft, attempted theft, and malicious damage (subject to terms and conditions).

At Local Tool Hire LTD, we reserve the right to amend and alter the charges displayed on our website. We may also add or remove items listed on the catalogue.
