The GYS Cutter 40FV plasma cutter is a highly versatile bit of kit, with flexible voltage capability. Flexible voltage allows the unit to run on both 110V and 230V power supplies or any voltage between 85 and 265V. Coupled with PFC (power factor correction) these run well on long extension cable lengths (up to 100m) and on weak power supplies.Weighing only 20Kg, its a portable plasma cutter, which can run from a generator (+/-15%). Its heavy duty casing and protection rating allow for use in industrial environments.A pilot arc start does not require contact of the tip with the work piece. Pilot arc eliminates the requirement for a HF (high frequency) start eliminating any electro magnetic interference from mobile phones, computers, radios etc.

Cutting capacities:

• Up to 20mm steel, stainless steel and cast iron (15mm clean cut)
• Up to 15mm aluminium and copper (10mm clean cut)
• A mesh mode maintains the arc when the torch is not in contact with the workpiece allowing for easy cutting of the next section.
